Constructing a Story Bible
Every story is complex. Even if you’re not taking on the monstrous task of writing a series, a single book has a ton of moving parts that you as the author won’t think about too often. However, publishers, agents, editors, and your readers are far more likely to notice continuity errors because they’re not as close to the work as you are.
When writing a book or a series, it behooves any author to have all their in-world information straight. A good time to record a lot of the information is between the first draft and final copy. Much of the information needed for world building won’t even appear in the final draft of the book, but it’s important for you to know it in order to write authentic character and plot reactions.
This Writing Lodge original course will teach you everything you’ll ever need to know about the Story Bible. Our team will take you through each step of the process. And while Story Bibles tend to be long, once you understand the proper creation method, they shouldn’t be daunting. Creating a powerful Story Bible won’t just make your book stronger it should make you a more efficient and skilled writer.
